Head’s Welcome

Dear Friends

Firstly, I’m very proud of the students, staff, parents and board members of our school and all that we have accomplished together this year. Vision Valley School is continuously improving its level of education, even as we grow and change. And we want to keep it that way.

To do that, we need to know where we’re headed, what we want to achieve, and how we’re going to get there. You’ll find all those things in the school vision and mission statement.

Secondly, we are not necessarily interested in whether our students speak English as their native language. Our only interest in terms of language is that these students leave this school speaking and writing English as fluently.

We strive to improve each student’s level of English to the point where they will be able to function in the international tertiary education and business communities.

Thirdly, on our school premises, students are encouraged to work and play together, to share and to think of others. Our school strives to be a place where both students and staff respect each other and enjoy working in harmony together. We have high expectations for both staff and students to consider the value and worth of individuals, striving to build on their strengths and to build up their weaknesses. We want to develop students who will be able to dream great dreams for their lives and develop vision for their futures.

We encourage and welcome you to become involved with our school, to work with us to ensure the best possible education for your child. And thank you for taking the time to read through our School Handbook (coming soon here, but currently available at the school on request) … it provides important information that will help you partner with us in providing a safe, supportive and successful year for your child.
